In this video, I’m going to go over a question I get very often which is, why am I not losing weight?
A lot of people try different diets and exercise programs year after year. And they all do work to an extent!
So why are so many people struggling to lose weight?
Regardless of if you’re doing the carnivore diet, intermittent fasting, keto, low carb, or omad, the #1 thing you need to do to cause weight loss to occur is to be in a calorie deficit.
If you find you’re working out hard and eating “healthy” but you’re not losing weight, odds are, you aren’t in a calorie deficit.
This is the main thing everybody seems to get wrong. It’s not about eating healthy or eating a certain diet.
It all comes down to maintaining a proper deficit. Whether that’s by restricting calories, exercising more, or simply moving more, you have to create that deficit through hard work.
If you aren’t doing that, odds are you aren’t going to lose the weight you want to regardless of how healthy you eat, or if you only eat one meal a day or you cut out all carbs.
Those things are only used as tools for the main goal of creating that deficit. That’s it.
If you aren’t losing on Intermittent Fasting, lower your calories by 250-500 and keep working.
And if you think eating healthy is all you need to pay attention to and you’re still not losing weight, start tracking your calories, lower them by 250-500 and keep working.
I think you get my point!
Bottom line: you HAVE to be in a calorie deficit or you WILL not lose the weight you want to and achieve the goals you’ve set forth.
That is all!
