Fortunately, they’ve done a lot better in the last couple of years, so I definitely feel comfortable recommending some of their newer equipment.

Titan Barbells
Best – Titan Blues City Olympic Barbell
This barbell has a couple of key features that make it the best Titan has to offer.
- Rated for 1,500 lbs, so you don’t have to worry about dying.
- It has a Cerakote Coating that helps protect against scratches and corrosion.
- It’s a hybrid bar built for Olympic lifts and power lifts alike.
This bar is solid for pretty much any lifter and especially for home gym settings.
Check out the Titan Blues City Olympic Barbell here.
Runner-Up – Titan Blues City Power Bar
This bar is a little cheaper than their Olympic bar, but that doesn’t make it any less durable.
Their power bar is rated for 1,500 lbs and provides a decent amount of whip any flex on the bar.
As the name suggests, this bar is perfect for the Power Lifts, as in the Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.
It has a center knurling for grip while squatting and a more aggressive diamond textured knurling as well.

Budget – Titan Olympic Power Bar
This is one of the best-priced bars on the market.
If you’re on a budget and only need a barbell rated for 1,000 lbs, this is the one you want.
This is also a hybrid bar, which means it works great for the power lifts, Olympic lifts, and anything else you can think of!

Specialty Bars
Titan Multi-Grip Barbell – v2
Multi-Grip or Football bars, as they’re sometimes called, have a ton of uses for people with shoulder issues.
Because the handles are neutral grip, it allows you to bench press and overhead press without externally rotating your shoulders.
This also makes it a great bar for training triceps and shoulders, especially.
If you’re a fan of tricep extensions and skull crushers, this bar will help maintain proper positioning.
This bar also has a super nice black powder-coating, which looks really nice and protects from scuffing and early rust.
On top of that, this bar’s unique construction means it has much more strength than a typical barbell.
It’s rated for 2,000 lbs, so the odds of it breaking down is incredibly low.

Titan Hex Trap Bar – v2
Titan’s Hex Trap Bar V2 is one of the best that you can get on the market.
And for the price, it is absolutely worth the investment.
One of the main benefits of this type of trap bar is doing the trap bar deadlift.
For some people, myself included, a Conventional Deadlift isn’t a great option for your structure.
Plus, compared to a regular Deadlift, the Trap Bar Deadlift is a much better muscle builder. Especially paired with a Romanian Deadlift variation.
One of the nice features about this bar is that it has raised handles, which many crappy trap bars don’t have.
This bar’s weight capacity is only 800 lbs, but for the average gym-goer, this will be plenty.
Only a small percentage of the population will ever get to that level of strength, so this isn’t a huge issue for the most part.
Bottom line, if you want a cheap Trap Bar that doesn’t suck and actually has good knurling that won’t destroy your hands, this is the bar for you.

Titan Safety Squat Bar – v2
Safety Bar Squats are one of my favorite variations of the Squat that you can do.
Because of how the bar is loaded, it tries to dump you forward and works your abs/mid-back like crazy.
My abs have never been sore from straight bar squatting, but using a squat safety bar has my abs sore once I get to heavier weights.
The other great thing is that you won’t be able to use as much weight as your regular Squat.
This means that the stronger you get at the Safety Bar Squat, the stronger your Squat will be, which is obviously always a good thing.
I originally bought the V1 version of this bar, and while it works, it definitely has some issues.
The shoulder pads and handles are spaced too wide and allow the bar to move around if you don’t have a ton of muscle.
For somebody smaller than me, like my female clients, they would have a really hard time keeping the bar in the right spot as it would move around.
The other issue is that the pads aren’t all one piece. They have three separate pieces on the bar and handles, which allows them to spin and aren’t the most comfortable.
All of this has been fixed in version 2, however. The handles are much closer together, which makes it much more stable on your shoulders and traps.
On top of that, the pads are one solid piece, so nothing moves around at all.
This bar is also rated for 1,500 lbs, so the durability is obviously there as well.
The other thing to consider is the price; it’s almost half the price of some of Rogue and Elitefts bars, which is a big deal considering the quality this bar brings.

Titan Fitness Benches
Best Bench – Titan Hefty Bench – v2
Mix up your routine by performing tricep dips, leg lowers, step-ups, and decline push-ups with the additional capacity provided by the Hefty Bench by Titan Fitness. You can use barbells, Olympic plates, or dumbbells with these exercises.
Titans Hefty Bench V2 is, as the name suggests, pretty hefty.
It’s rated for 1,200 lbs, so unless you’re Benching over 1,000 lbs, this bench can most likely cover it.
This bench also has a handle and wheels to move it around your home gym easily.
You won’t get much better for the price than this, considering just how comfortable the cushion is and the durability it brings to the table.

Best Adjustable Bench – Titan Adjustable FID Bench
Titan's Adjustable FID (Flat/Incline/Decline) Bench is a versatile and tough addition to any home or garage gym. With 7 back and 4 seat positions to choose from this adjustable bench is perfect for adding new variations into your routine.
If you’re interested in an adjustable bench, Titan has a couple of options.
I have the Incline Bench that Titan offers, and I absolutely do not recommend it.
It has serious design flaws and just isn’t a stable bench by any means.
Instead, I highly recommend the Single Post Adjustable FID Bench.
It’s much more durable while also allowing for easy incline and decline adjustments.
Many benches on Amazon are absolute junk for half the price, so definitely don’t consider them.
This bench and the one from Rep Fitness are the best you’re gonna get!
Check out the Titan Adjustable FID Bench here!
Budget Bench – Titan Flat Bench
When you’re trying to build muscle, it’s important to shake up your fitness regimen. Typically, your muscles adapt to exercises and, after a while, your muscles plateau. An effective way to mix up your fitness routine is through a weight bench. A weight bench expands your horizons, allowing you to perform bench presses, incline presses, pullovers, rows, tricep extensions, and curls.
Titan’s best budget bench is this flat bench. It has a weight capacity of 1,000 lbs with a handle and wheels for mobility.
This is the best bench you’re going to get at this price point unless you check out Rep Fitness bench and decide you like it more.
This bench will easily outclass anything available on Amazon, so if you need a budget bench to complete your gym, this is the option for you.

Titan Dumbbells
Best Dumbbells – Titan Black Rubber Hex Dumbbells
The Rubber Coated Hex Dumbbells from Titan Fitness® are offered in pairs of 5-pound increments from 5 to 100-pounds. Additionally, we provide various sets from 5 to 25-pounds, 5 to 50-pounds, and a full set of 5 to 100-pounds.
Titan’s dumbbells are sold in pairs, which is the only way that makes sense to me.
It’s hard to just buy one dumbbell and be useful for the most part.
They sell these in individual pairs as well as the following:
- 5-25 Lb Dumbbell Set
- 5-50 Lb Dumbbell Set
- 5-100 Lb Dumbbell Set
Having these options can definitely help you save money as opposed to buying them in pairs individually.
The cool thing about their pricing is that the heavier they are, the cheaper they are per lb.
So if you buy the 100 lb dumbbell pair, it’s only $1.45 per lb, whereas the 5 lb pair is 2.5 per lb.
Depending on what dumbbells you need, this could be a great way to save some money.
The main thing about these dumbbells is they’re basically the same as other hex dumbbells out there.
They’re hex-shaped, so they don’t roll away between sets, which is always a good thing.

Budget Dumbbells – Titan Loadable 20-in Dumbbell Handles
With these dumbbell handles, you will be able to get to work toning chest, ab, arm, pectoral, and back muscles. Incorporate them with lunges and squats in your fitness routine to target your hamstrings, quads, and glutes.
Obviously, the cheapest dumbbell sets in the world just aren’t that budget-friendly. Plus, they take up a lot of space that just isn’t available to some people.
The solution to this is to invest in a set of
If this is something you’re interested in, Titan sells different loadable dumbbell handles depending on how much space you need.
The 15″ handles are way too short and the 36″ handles are way too long for what most people will use them for.
So the best middle ground Titan offers is these 20″ handles, and they come in a pair compared to others that are way more expensive.
The crazy thing is that these have a weight capacity of 500 lbs but actually getting weights thin enough and heavy enough to hit seems like a stretch.
But this is good because you know anything thing between 5-200 lbs these dumbbells will handle.
Definitely a solid product for a cheap price.

Titan Kettlebells
Best Kettlebells – Titan Adjustable Competition Style Kettlebell
This adjustable version of our popular Competition Style Kettlebells allows you to adjust your weight from 12 KG up to 32 KG. Simply loosen and remove the screw to adjust your weight, fix it back in place, and you are ready to go.
Suppose you’re interested in kettlebells and want the same functionality as a loadable dumbbell handle. In that case, Titan offers this unique competition style kettlebell.
The best part is that you can load it and tighten it with the included Allen wrench. Afterward, you can attach the bottom part of the bell, which looks like a regular kettlebell.
You can adjust the weight of this from 12-32 kg, or 25-70 lbs.

Budget Kettlebells – Titan Plate Loadable Kettlebell Swing
The Plate Loadable Kettlebell Swing from Titan Fitness® is a unique tool to add to your arsenal for those grueling kettlebell workouts, free up some gym space by replacing your kettlebell set with a one size fits all Kettlebell Swing!
Suppose you want the best budget option to replace all of your kettlebells and use your own Olympic weights. In that case, I recommend checking out titans plate Loadable Kettlebell Swing.
These load up just like their dumbbells using Olympic plates. And then even have a weight capacity of 500 lbs, which is crazy for Kettlebell movements.
Still, you buy a pair of these, and you’re going to save hundreds of dollars and tons of space as well.
This is the best offer you’re going to find out there, so definitely jump on it as soon as they’re back in stock!

Titan Plates
Best Plates – Titan Elite Bumper Plates
The Elite Competition Color Bumper Plates from Titan Fitness® are offered in pairs of 10 and 25-pounds and are sold individually in 35, 45, and 55-pound increments. Additionally, we offer a full set of 230 and 340-pounds. Each plate features a 50.6 mm steel-lined center hole, which fits Olympic size barbells and will maintain their shape in between uses.
The best plates that Titan sells is their elite Bumper plates. They come in both colored and black styles depending on what you need.
The color bumpers look cooler for sure, but the black bumpers still have colored font staying the weight off each plate.
It really is up to you on what style you prefer, but the difference in pricing might not be worth it depending on what you like.
The great thing about these bumpers is that they feature a chrome plate steel disc that maintains its shape.
A lot of crappy Bumper plates are pure rubber with just a small steel ring the barbell fits onto.
These almost always break down relatively quickly as they’re cheaply made.
Instead, buying a set of these promises much more durable plates and better performance with the Olympic lifts.
The main reason is that they don’t bounce like crazy as cheaper bumpers do.
These are awesome for the standard power lifts and Olympic lifting, so if you plan on doing some power cleans and deadlifts, these are the plates you want to get.
Check out the Titan Elite Bumper Plates here!
Runner Up Plates – Titan Economy Bumper Plates
Titan Fitness Economy Black Rubber Bumper Plates are offered in pairs of 10, 15, and 25-pound increments. 35, 45, and 100-pound weights are sold individually, and we offer a full set of 230 and 260-pounds.
If you want a cheaper Olympic plate option that gets the job done, these plates are perfect.
If you don’t plan on competing and just need some solid plates to do Olympic lifts, deadlifts, and more, these will get the job done.
Their 260 lb set is less than $2 per lb. You’ll never find a better deal than that. Just remember that you get what you pay for. Their durability varies depending on if you’re slamming down snatches and lots of people are using them.
For a small home gym with controlled lifts, you absolutely can’t go wrong.

Titan Power Racks
Best Power Rack – Titan X-3 Flat Foot Power Rack
The Titan X-3 Flat Foot Power Rack is the ultimate solution for lifters and athletes looking for a top of the line Power Rack, without having to bolt the rack to the floor! With our premium weight lifting power rack, you’ll be looking like a professional bodybuilder in no time.
The
Unlike X-3: X-Men United, which is absolutely horrible.
The X-3 weighs 340+ lbs. so you don’t even need to bolt it down as it’s too heavy to topple over from regular use.
It’s also rated for 1,500 lbs and is made of heavy-duty steel, which will handle just about anything you throw at it.
The other thing it has going for it is the uprights are 3×3, which is the industry standard for most accessories and durability as well.
Titan also offers extensions to make it taller, as well as selling short and tall versions as well.
This rack also features a built-in pullup bar and band pegs, common for power racks these days.
Bottom line, if you want the best rack Titan Fitness has to offer is the X-3.

Runner Up Power Rack – Titan T-3 Series Power Rack
The T-3 Series Power Rack by Titan Fitness® is offered in 82 and 91-inch models to fit your gym needs. Featuring heavy-duty 2 x 3-inch 11-gauge square steel uprights with Westside hole spacing through the bench and clean pull zone, 2-inch spacing above and below, 6-inch side hole spacing throughout entire upright, a bolt-together design, and a powder-coated black finish.
The T-3 Series Power Rack by Titan is another awesome option, just a little cheaper than the X-3.
The main positive with this rack is you can pick the rack height, rack depth, and even add on optional weight plate holders.
The rack height comes in at 82-in and 91-in, depending on what you need for your specific garage gym.
The rack depth comes in at 24-in and 36-in so that you can minimize the footprint the rack comes in or makes it wider to give you more room while training.
The add on weight plate holders will also help with stability and save you more space than a separate setup.
All in all, it’s a solid rack that’s 2×3 heavy-duty 11-gauge steel, which is the industry standard.
Because it’s 2×3, though, you’ll miss out on some accessories that only fit 3×3 racks.
Another big key feature is that it has 2-inch spacing above and below the bench zone. The bench zone itself has Westside hole spacing that comes in around 1-inch for finer adjustments.
You can also get strap safeties if you want to keep your bar in great condition as well.

Budget Power Rack – Titan T-3 Folding Rack
- Upright Heights ranging from 82-92 inches
- Rack Depths from 21-42 inches
- Black-Powder Coating
- 1,100 lb weight capacity
- Foldable rack so it folds in
- Westside hole spacing
- J-cups with UHMW plastic
The T-3 Series Folding Rack is the best budget option that Titan offers.
This folding rack has an incredibly small footprint as you can fold it up for later use.
This rack is also offered in 82 and 91-in height variations while also allowing you to choose between 21 and 42-in rack depth.
The best part is that even though it’s a foldable rack, it still has all the same 11-gauge uprights and hole spacing as the standard X-3 model.
The only downside is having to attach it to your wall, but that shouldn’t be an issue for most people.
Considering how much Amazon racks go for and the fact that they’re mostly made of aluminum foil, this is one of the best racks for the price you can get.

Titan Storage Options
Best/Budget Storage Rack – Titan Wall Mounted Weight Rack
Efficiently and easily store your plates with this dual anchored wall plate storage system!
It’s kind of funny that the best weight Storage Rack that Titan has is also their cheapest.
This weight rack is mounted to your wall and has an angled design that leans against the wall.
This helps reduce the stress on your wall stud and increases the weight capacity as well, which is 800 lbs if you can believe it.
That means you literally have a one-stop solution for all of your weights and save space in your gym as well.
On top of that, this storage rack is incredibly cheap compared to the competition, so for the value, it’s worth it.
Check out the Titan Wall Mounted 4-Peg Weight Rack here!
Runner Up Storage Rack – Titan Horizontal Weight Plate Storage
Keep your bumper plates accessible and close at hand with the Horizontal Weight Plate Storage w/ Wheels. The all-steel construction is bound to last for years to come, and the welded-on handle makes transportation a breeze.
I call this the runner up because it’s definitely more expensive but still works great for what it does.
It’s a standard horizontal Storage Rack that fits most bumper plates and larger iron cast plates as well.
You might need another smaller storage option for 10s, 5s, and 2.5s, but this works great if you have a lot of larger plates as well.

Titan Fitness Vs. Rogue Fitness
This is a pretty simple answer depending on your budget and what type of gym you’re outfitting.
If you have a small budget and you’re planning on building a home gym to train a couple of times per week, Titan Fitness is great.
If you have a much higher budget and want to build a commercial gym for tons of members, Rogue is the industry standard you should be getting.
They offer much higher quality at a premium price, so you know that your equipment will last forever.
They also have a much larger category than Titan Fitness, so you can check out their website here if you want to learn more.
Titan Fitness Vs. Rep Fitness
While Titan Fitness has some great budget options, the quality and pricing from Rep Fitness are incredibly competitive.
Not only do they have some of my favorite racks and benches on the market, but they offer some of the best add-ons for their equipment as well.
Pretty much all of their power racks can be customized for pretty much whatever you need.
You can add specialty pullup bars, different colors on your uprights and cross-members, built-in pulldown and belt squat systems, as well as iso lever arms that allow you to do machine-based alternatives for even more variety.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg for what Rep Fitness has to offer.
Their plates are very cheap, and they’re constantly updating their catalog.
If you want a great medium ground between Titan and rogue with some of the best value you can get, Rep Fitness is the best in the business.
Check them out here to learn more!
Conclusion
And that’s it!
While I do think Titan is an above-average company, they do have some issues they still need to work out.
The shipping and customer service issues need to be addressed, and their quality control can use some work.
Depending on your budget and space available, they can be a really good choice to outfit your gym.
If you want to step up and get a higher value for your gym, check out Rep Fitness.
And if you want top of the line equipment for a premium price, Rogue Fitness is what you want to get.
I hope this helped you out and gave you an idea if Titan Fitness is worth your money, though.
I’m sure they’ll get better as time goes on, so definitely give them a shot if they sound right for you.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a happy holiday.
Until next time,
-Dante Redgrave
